Martha Duncan is a Glasgow School of Art architecture graduate gone rogue from Edinburgh. As a multi disciplinary illustrator she explores the daft aspects of life and big moods in vibrant colours. With a mixture of abstract still life illustration and playful humour, she explore's hand built pottery and statement handmade prints featuring bold blocky colour.
Martha takes a contemporary twist on traditional media, using pottery and printmaking as the canvas for her daft and colourful illustrations. Self taught in both, her techniques are unbridled and would probably make the Masters cry out in despair. However this playful approach makes for totally unique outcomes and joy in every piece.
